First Weekend

Our intensive Spanish course started last Thursday. It's four hours a day until classes at the UB start on February 4th. The class is alright... long, but not too bad because we get a pretty long break in the middle.

Thursday night, a bunch of us went out to a club called The Catwalk. A girl who was here last semester brought us there and we had free passes to get in, which was nice. However, the drinks were complete rip-offs. They were all like 10 euros each. It was a fun night though. The club had two floors with different music. We got home at around 5am, which we thought was pretty late.

On Friday, we all went out for Tapas. Deliciousssss. Afterwards, we sketchily drank a bit in an alleyway under instruction of Guillem (one of our Guardian Angels), went to a bar, and then finally, at around 3am, went to the club Razzmatazz. It closed at 6 and we got home at around 7... My roommate and I slept until like 5pm the next day, did nothing, then went out to dinner and to a bar... pretty lowkey night.

Not much else to say except that nothing is open on Sundays. I bet this is boring to read. Over and out.

Hi Laura, I'm glad to see that you're also enjoying the Spanish way of partying... quite crazy huh? Anyway, Valencia is not that far away from Barcelona so we might see each other sooner than we think... take care and have lots of fun!
